Donna Comelli
Senior Designer, Owner
Donna has been a hair designer and barber for over 30 years. She is originally from Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She has lived at the lake for over 27 years. She loves working with Matrix Color and creating beautiful tones with highlights and lowlights. Donna specializes in short, fun, textured and sassy women's hair cuts and designs. She and The Bella Donna Design Team are firm believers in continuing education, bringing educators into the salon and traveling to further our education, bringing our clients the latest in current styles and designs. |
Donna also works with fine and thin hair, educating her clients on how to create fuller and thicker looks. She teaches her clients how to take care of their scalp and hair with Bosley, and Aquage products.
Donna's Hobbies:
- Loves to Ride Zippy (her waverunner) on Waverunner Wednesday with the Babes of Waves
- Still loves to slalom ski
- Loves to play pickle ball.
Donna also volunteers for the American Cancer Society- Look Good Feel Better program at the Lake Regional Hospital. Donna has also just been chosen as one of the "TOP 10 BUSINESS WOMEN OF THE YEAR". |

Amy Meeker
Hair Designer, Salon Manager
Amy is an experienced, fun loving designer. She has been with Bella Donna Salon for over 13 years. She has taken full advantage of the continuing education offered, learning deep point cutting techniques, updo and bridal and special event styling. Amy attended the Aquage Master Academy in 2013 in San Antonio, Texas and again in 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevade. Her reverse curling experience will give you that Red Carpet look on your special day! Precison cuts and Blonde Bombshell looks are techniques she has perfected. With the right product she can show you how to style fuss free hair and have that salon look at home. |
| Amy has spent most of her life at the Lake of the Ozarks, spending her summers here as a child and building her life and career through adulthood. Amy and her husband are raising two teenagers at the lake and the family loves to spend as much time as they can on the water and enjoying the beautiful area they call home. |

Jodi Cline - Hair Designer
This experienced hair designer joined our team over 10 years ago after relocating from St. Louis. She has an amazing ability to create volumous, soft, sexy looks. Jodi has been trained in Matrix color techniques along with other color lines. Jodi's fun personality comes out in her work with fun layering styles for long hair and choppy, textured short styles. Jodi enjoys creating unique up styles for your special occasion. Current teen styles and men's barbering and coloring are areas Jodi keeps up to date. Natural curl is not a challenge for Jodi.
She can work natural curl into the most flattering look for your face shape. She is accepting new clients and looks forward to working with you. Foiling and shine placement are techniques Jodi excels in.

Jodi also specializes in hot head and aqua hair extensions, she is able to provide length or volume to any hair type. Jodi's oldest daughter recently joined the Bella Donna team and is our newest apprentice. Watching her grow in talent in the salon has been has been fun and she is a great addition to our salon family.
Jodi is originally from St. Charles Missouri and is the proud mom of four beautiful kids. Her and her husband stay very busy with their youngest daughters competition volleyball team they travel all over the state for her games. When they are not traveling for sports they are out enjoying the lake on their boat.
Jodi Attended the Aquage Masterclass Academy in Chicago & Received her prestigious Certificate of Excellence for her Aquage MasterClass Academy.

Kendy Buechter - Hair Designer
Kendy Buechter joined the Bella Donna Design team over 7 years ago. Kendy is a native of the Lake and loves carefree styles with awesome color. Kendy believes a good haircut is key for fuss free hair. Kendy achieves this for her clients with her precision cuts. With over 12 years of experience Kendy can give you the haircut you are looking for. Kendy loves working with long hair from a framed blunt hair cut to a layered cut for a fine hair. Kendy also works well with men's hair, she is quite the artist with her clipper cuts. From a detailed mohawk to a business look, Kendy achieves it.

| Kendy loves bold fashionable color she has worked with Pravana Vivids, Matrix socolor and the organic Matrix line, Color Insider. Her bold fusions of color in a ombre placement are remarkable. Kendy can do anything from a allover color to the beautiful placement of hi-lites and lo-lites. Since joining our team she has adventured into hair extensions and Keratin treatments. She has loved the results she has received.
Kendy spends most of her free time caring for animals she helps all animals from rescue to her own four legged family members. She has placed many puppies with forever family's when she raised English Mastiff dogs, the gentle giant breed. She also loves to enjoy our beautiful lake preferably with a fishing pole in her hand she has participated in tournaments around the lake area and loves the solitude and competition of catching the biggest bass in our lake. From hair and makeup to Fishing hooks she can catch the beauty in all walks of life.

Pat Collins - Nail Designer
Born and raised in St. Louis Mo., Pat received her Manicuring License in 1978. She went to work at Show Girl Nails after getting her license, and bought one of the Salons from the Owner, in 1984 in Creve Coeur, building that business from 3 Nail Tech's to 14 in just 2 years. Most of her experience is in Acrylic Nails, and Tips with overlay, but have become very fond of the new "Shellac System "of Gel Polish. She has been with Bella Donna Salon for over 8 years and we are blessed to have her and all of her years of experience at our salon.

Pat loves to travel and spend time with her friends at the lake. She is our salon social butterfly. She is a lover of all sports and likes to catch a St.Louis Cardinals game or Kansas City Cheifs game whenever she can, actually she never misses one. Her grand puppy is named after a a Cardinals player so the love of sports runs through her family blood. Pat is a mover and a shaker she enjoys bartending on the side at her favorite hangout Michaels Lake Challet Wine Haus. Pat enjoyed retirement for a short time and then realized it was to boring and found she missed working she has found a perfect balance doing what she loves and still having a ton of fun!

Chelsey Nixon - Hair Designer
Chelsey graduated from Paul Mitchell the School located in Springfield, MO, in January of 2022. She is a true lake girl born and raised here in Lake of the Ozarks where she has continued to build a life for her and her family. She excels with building an established relationship with her clients to help them achieve the most out of their experience while in her chair. She enjoys getting her hands on anything regarding makeup, eyelash extensions, blonding or braiding. She is certified in lash extensions and hair extensions but that doesn’t limit her to just those services! |
She can do just about anything from cutting to coloring or simply just helping you decide on a new updated look! She is continuing her education while in the salon to keep her skills fresh and updated with the new styles and trends. She really enjoys transforming her clients into the best version of themselves and seeing the progress towards her clients hair goals. Outside of work, Chelsey has two beautiful sons and a husband that is truly her best friend. Together they breed American bullies and have 5 of their own fur friends! They enjoy traveling to dog shows and spending quality time outside together as a family. Chelsey is your girl if you want a transformation or just a fresh updated look. |

Taylor Martin - Apprentice
We are so proud to have Taylor Martin join our design team! Taylor is our new talent working as an apprentice at Bella Donna Salon. Taylor has decided to follow in her mom, Jodi Cline another Bella Donna stylist, footsteps. She has always been drawn to the creativity and art of hair in the salon industry. Growing up with a mom that has been in the business for over 20 years, she basically has grown up talking hair.

| The growth we have seen since she has started her journey with us is incredible. She is ready to learn and embrace all the newest techniques and trends. Keep a eye on Taylor she is definitely going to be the next up and coming stylist in the making. We are so proud to have her!
She is hitting the books hard and working another job as she competes her apprenticeship so she does not have a ton of free time. When she does get time off she loves to spend her time with family and friends, preferably floating down the river and camping with friends, shopping or catching any online hair class she can. |
